Triethylene Glycol 30%

Triethylene glycol (TEG) 30% is a clear, colourless to slightly yellowish liquid with a mild odour. Since it’s a 30% solution, it is mixed with water, making it less viscous than pure TEG. The solution is typically non-volatile and hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air).

Common uses of Triethylene Glycol 30%:

• Air Sanitisation & Disinfection – Used as a disinfectant and air sanitiser in HVAC systems, hospitals and enclosed spaces to control airborne pathogens.
• Dehumidification & Desiccant – Helps in moisture control in natural gas processing and industrial drying systems.
• Antifreeze & Coolants – Used as a heat transfer fluid in HVAC, refrigeration and engine coolants.
• Plasticiser – Acts as a plasticiser in the production of flexible plastics, resins and coatings.
• Textile & Paper Industry – Used as a humectant in textile processing and paper manufacturing to maintain moisture content.
• Hydraulic Fluids & Lubricants – Incorporated in lubricants and hydraulic fluids to improve viscosity and stability.
• Chemical Intermediate – Used in manufacturing polymers, adhesives and other chemical compounds.
