Peracetic Acid 5%

Peracetic Acid 5% is a clear, colourless liquid with a strong, pungent vinegar-like odour. It is a highly reactive oxidising agent and is usually found in aqueous solutions.

Common uses of Peracetic Acid 5%:

• Disinfectant & Sanitiser – Used in food processing, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries for surface and equipment disinfection.
• Water Treatment – Used to disinfect wastewater, drinking water and cooling towers.
• Agriculture & Food Industry – Used for washing fruits, vegetables and poultry to control microbial contamination.
• Paper & Textile Industry – Used for bleaching pulp and textiles.
• Cooling Tower & Industrial Cleaning – Prevents biofilm formation and microbial growth in industrial systems.
• Beverage Industry – Disinfects processing equipment in breweries and dairy plants.
