Forms:

  • Anhydrous (Na₂CO₃): Dry powder form.
  • Monohydrate (Na₂CO₃·H₂O): Contains one water molecule.
  • Decahydrate (Na₂CO₃·10H₂O) or Washing Soda: Large, colourless crystals that effloresce in air.
